On the road at West Geauga the Lady Rebels found themselves behind early and couldn’t fire up their normally hot bats tonight. Halle Zupancic struggled early on but didn’t get a lot of help on defense as the error bug took a bite out of the infield. The South hurler allowed 9 runs, 3 of them earned. Zupancic would collect 2 hits in the game as would Paige Janson and Makayla Schneider who also scored 2 runs each. Schneider would also steal two bases tonight.

Ava Bors from West Geauga continued her great hitting year as she rocketed 3 doubles off of the starter tonight but fortunately with the bases empty.

The Rebels should regroup fine in time for their road match up at Eastlake North tomorrow in part one of the historic neighborhood rivalry.
